White House Boracay

Yes! We were able to visit Boracay again just April this year before its upcoming rehabilitation, temporary six months closure.  Actually, it was last year when I booked thru Agoda (a good deal under book now pay later) a Standard Room accommodation at White House Beach Resort, a beachfront hotel located in Station 1, Boracay.  Their Standard Room is the cheapest and located across the street, definitely non beachfront but near the pool and beach area, just a few walks away.  Luckily, we were upgraded (I mean with no extra charge) to Deluxe Room (Yes! Yes!) which is located at the side of the beachfront building.  Thank you White House Boracay!  Another to be thankful for is we were given a complimentary transfer from hotel to Boracay port for our departure.  Since our departure time was so early, before the complimentary breakfast serving time, we were given packed sandwiches as takeout instead.

Without further ado, here are the list of inclusions and pros of staying in Deluxe Room of White House Beach Resort Boracay.
  • Beachfront hotel located at Station 1, not crowded unlike in Station 2 and where the long and wider stretch of finest and whitest sands of Boracay are found
  • Welcome drinks upon arrival at the reception
  • Free use of swimming pool, beach lounge, beach bed and beach towels.
  • Shower near the swimming pool
  • Complimentary breakfast (set meal) served either at Station Juan Cafe Restaurant or at beach lounge
  • 1 Queen bed (with comforter)
  • Safety deposit box
  • Rooms are fully air-conditioned
  • Hot and cold shower
  • Refrigerator
  • Coffee/tea making facilities
  • Cable TV
  • Big closet
  • Umbrella
  • Towels and toiletries (bath soap, toothbrush with toothpaste, disposable razor, cotton buds, shampoo and shower gel in containers/dispensers)
  • Toilet with bidet
  • Clothes drying rack (in veranda)
  • Complimentary water
  • Free WiFi (at the lobby and beach lounge)
  • Daily make up room service
  • 24 hours stand-by generator
  • 24 hours security personnel and receptionist
  • Friendly staff
  • Bakery/bakeshop at the back, across the street
Of course, if there are pros, there are cons.  I suggest they have the ff. and our stay I might say would have been perfect.
  • Hairdryer
  • Complimentary breakfast is okay, I suggest fruits are included in the set meal and hot choco for kids.  And btw, their Bangus is not boneless.
  • Teaspoon to complete the coffee/tea making facilities
  • Coffee table
  • Internet access inside the room.
I'm not into expensive hotel or accommodation.  However during our stay in the upgraded room, I realized that if our room is located across the street, at the back of the beachfront building, it would be difficult, I mean if you will bring kid/s like I did, to go back and forth from room to beach lounge every time you need to get something since you have to cross the road.  Also, what I like about the room is that they have coffee/tea making facilities and a refrigerator.  Our stay was 4 nights, and it's economical if we buy snacks, beverages and 3in1 coffee at Savemore in CityMall.

Overall, we really did enjoy our stay here.  Thank you White House Boracay!  Till next time! :)
