I have never heard of Paradise Adventure Camp resort until I had an opportunity when I accompanied or joined my grade school son in his educational fieldtrip. It is located in San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan, just a few kilometers away from SM Fairview, Quezon City.
Paradise Adventure Camp provides outdoor adventure program to the students and parents/kids and adults and offers team building and adventure activities that will help them value Teamwork, Cooperation and Unity.
From the main entrance, you will climb a number of steps to reach the camp.
We (per group) were accompanied by camp’s well-trained and equipped facilitators and technical crews who manage the safety and learning program of each activity.
Also inside the camp, there are stone tables and chairs and even monoblock in case you will need/use those; canteen; restrooms; cottages and tree houses.
We had ten activities that day (for Level 1). Some were posted here in this blog..enjoy!
The beautiful Ate Dhen, one of the staff/facilitators was demonstrating how their mini zipline for kiddos works.
It was my son’s turn..
Kuya, one of the technical crews was equipping my son for the mini zipline and for his safety too.
Btw aside from giving instruction, the facilitators also explained what lesson student will learn on each activity. We never had a dull moment there. The staff/facilitators are not only well-informed but also friendly and with good sense of humor. I loved most of their punch lines (esp. Kuya Decson and Kuya Jhon Pogi).
Here is one of the adventure activities just for adults like me, rappelling. This is actually a 45 ft. Tower.
That was easy, I said to myself when I saw the crews and other parents doing the rappelling. I was equipped and even climbed a number of steps just to get to the top. A co-parent lent his hand to hold my camera and made those shots below.
Co-parent mistakenly made this shot below thinking it was me. Sorry but it wasn’t me cause I backed out (haha!). I really couldn’t do it, my apologies..
I have fear of heights actually, but there’s only one adventure I think I have conquered this fear and that is zipline. The 45 ft. tower, their main attraction offers not only rappelling but also zipline and wall climbing. And so, I didn't fail my son riding the zipline.
Kid should be accompanied by his or her parent to be able to ride this zipline.
Another fun and educational activities..
More photos of the resort here..
There are swimming pools for water survival activities (other levels).
Gazebos
Other activity areas
Not only doing those adventure activities and climbing stairs inside the camp but also walking along the camp made my feet very tired. I had this little pain in my legs after this fieldtrip which lasted for 2-3 days. This might be due to sign of aging (haha) or for having no exercise the past few weeks.
These team building and adventure activities also help the students develop skills and talents, improve communication, gain self-confidence, overcome fear and increase physical and mental ability. But one thing I’m very much sure was, my son had a great time with his friends and classmates; and with his mom of course. It was tiring yet fun, enjoyable and educational. Thanks to my son’s school for this opportunity. It would have been more fun if both parents were required to join. Also, thanks to all the staff/facilitators of Paradise Adventure Camp. Good job mga Kuya and Ate! I would definitely recommend this camp to family and friends; and to my readers hehe..
Till next time!
